DMK celebrates Lunar New Year with DMK friends and community at an intimate celebration that honoured tradition and the joy of togetherness — and we invited them to bring their plus ones, so that the celebration could be shared and multiplied.

The Lunar New Year is a season of reunion, shared stories, and looking forward while rooted in heritage — and this year, we embraced it with moments designed to connect, reflect, and delight. True to DMK’s spirit, these gatherings echo the brand’s legacy, passed from woman to woman, out of love and care, creating a circle of warmth, inspiration, and shared celebration.

Spring 2026 Collection

The season of reunion provided the perfect backdrop to showcase our Spring 2026 collection, where delicate soft pink floral hues evoked the promise of new beginnings and the subtle optimism of a fresh year. The soft florals, carefully woven into the designs, symbolised growth, renewal, and the quiet strength found in embracing life’s possibilities — a perfect complement to the season of Lunar New Year.

At its heart, DMK is more than a name — it is a reflection of values and intention, carrying meaning across generations. Inspired by DOR-MI-KA and its Chinese counterpart 多蜜佳, the brand carries meaning in every syllable: abundance (多), sweetness (蜜), and positivity (佳). Each creation, each collection, is imbued with this ethos, connecting heritage, craft, and modern elegance.

Through these values, DMK celebrates not just fashion, but a way of being — one that honours tradition, cultivates joy, and invites those who wear it into a world defined by thoughtfulness, beauty, and shared abundance.

多 (duō) DOR

At the DIY charm-making station, each charm became a personal token of intention — a symbol of joy, abundance, and aspirations for the months to come. In crafting their charms, participants not only created a keepsake but also embraced the spirit of the season: a mindful celebration of possibilities and the richness of new beginnings.

蜜 (mì) MI

Snacks and rice from SunRice and SongHe respectively, paired with teas from Company of Wellness, created moments of comfort and shared enjoyment, grounding the celebration in warmth and connection. Each bite and sip reflected the spirit of Lunar New Year: a subtle sweetness that lingers, connecting tradition, community, and mindful celebration.

佳 (jiā) KA

At the water fortune telling station, guests revealed fortunes in love, health, wealth, and career, accompanied by hidden messages that inspired reflection and positivity for the year ahead. Each ripple in the water became a gentle reminder of possibility, encouraging guests to embrace the months to come with hope, optimism, and a lighthearted sense of anticipation.

More than a gathering, the event was a celebration of community, family, and beginnings anew. Against the Spring 2026 collection’s soft florals and refined silhouettes, DMK’s Lunar New Year celebration became a quiet ode to heritage, intention, and the understated joy of being together.
